Step 6: rename by long pressing -> rename -> set name to vault1. Delete the save file that's already there, it'll be named vault1.sav (you can copy it and save it to another location for safekeeping if you want), then rename (long press and hit rename) to vault1.sav. Once you're there, hit the paste button in the bottom right. Long press that file and hit copy to clipboard, then navigate back to Android -> Data -> -> files (you just scroll up from Download until you find Android then navigate the rest. You will want to find that in Xplore, and it most likely will be under Internal Storage -> Download.
When you edit your save on the save editor website, it will download as, leave it in this format for now. You tap internal storage -> Android -> Data -> -> files. Xplore may look daunting but fret not! The folder in which fallout shelter save data is saved is under internal storage.
